NATIONALS JUDGING

A9X Nationals Judging Criteria
To eliminate ambiguity and any possible confusion in relation to judging
and the awarding of trophies at Nationals events, the following document has
been established to create a simple and transparent set of guidelines to assist
the Event Committee:
1.
Only financial members of the A9X Torana Club of
Australia Inc. are eligible to enter his/her vehicle(s) for event judging.
All entered vehicles must have compulsory third party insurance and
appropriate registration for the event. Day
Permits, or similar, are available from the Motor Registry in each State.
2.
The member (entrant) can enter his/her vehicle(s) for judging in the
category of his/her choosing. The
Event Committee may not alter the category entered without the prior consent of
the entrant.
3. There
will be no distinction between A9X GMP&A vehicles and A9X production
vehicles for the purpose of event judging. Either
variant may be entered by the member (entrant) in the category of his/her
choosing.
4. Trophies
are to be allocated for First and Second place getters in the following
categories:
·
A9X Hatch - Standard
·
A9X Hatch - Modified
·
A9X
Sedan
- Standard
·
A9X
Sedan
- Modified
·
Race Car
·
Associate
The
awarding of additional trophies beyond First and Second will be dependent on the
number of entries received in a particular category.
This will be determined by the Event Committee in conjunction with the
Committee.
A
Sponsor’s Trophy may be awarded if provided by the sponsor and deemed
appropriate by the Event Committee.
5.
The “Best Overall” perpetual trophy is only to be awarded to an A9X
Torana (the perpetual trophy for Associates is to be awarded to the best of the
rest).
6.
The event judging team is to consist of a mixture of “suitably
qualified” Club members and independent judges from outside the Club.
The make-up of the judging panel will be determined by the Event
Committee in conjunction with the Club Committee.
